Why do men get better looking with age?

Ok, so I have been watching the new series called Rock Star:INXS. I have always had a major crush on the drummer Jon Farriss. The first time I noticed him was in the video Need You Tonight. Well after seeing a few episodes of this show, I have realized that he is not only the hottest guy in the band, but he is WAY hotter than he used be. My husband Matt is even way better looking now than he was 10 years ago. He used to have a baby face and now that he has a few wrinkles, he is more masculine looking and HOT! Why is it that women get old and men get hot?

Seinfeld...

I was watching an old re-run of Seinfeld tonight and for some reason I had forgotten how funny it was. I was cracking up! Why aren't there any good sitcoms on anymore? Don't get me wrong, I love my reality television, but I really miss the old comedy sitcoms that used to be on. There is only one sitcom that I like right now and that is Jake In Progress which was thankfully renewed for another season. It is funny, but I still miss all of the old ones.

The Washington State capitol

On our way home from our vacation, we stopped in Olympia because I wanted to take some pictures of the outside of the capitol building with my new camera. I think capitol buildings are so beautiful!

A few photos from our vacation...

We went on vacation to Ocean Shores, Washington this year. We stayed for 2 nights at the Shilo in which was right on the beach. We had an ocean view room with a balcony too. Our room had a separate living area with a dining table, sink, fridge and microwave. The best part was the TV in the bathroom though. After our long day walking on the beach, I got to take a nice hot bath while I watched Big Brother.

The first night that we were there, we saw our new Governor Christine Gregoire. Monica and I were walking back into the hotel when her town car pulled up. My Step-Dad told me that I should have told her that Matt needed a raise. :)

We played miniature golf and played on the beach the second day. It was a lot of fun, but Riley wasn't too into the mini golf. Matt brought a kite that our friend Sean gave to us and it had a few missing parts from the kids playing with it so it wouldn't work at first. After messing with it for 3 hours, he finally got it to fly and he was so proud of himself.

We had a really relaxing fun time. I think this was our best family vacation so far.

Some of my newest scrapbook pages....

I did a layout that I submitted to a scrapbook magazine for the first time and I am very excited about the way that it turned out. Here it is.

I am so excited that I have found a new photo printer that will print 4x12 photos! I have been wanting to be able to print photos at this size for so long. Here is my first layout with a 4x12 photo.

Things that I learned while I was on vacation...

Aberdeen is an absolute dump. I am not surprised that Kurt Cobain was such a troubled youth.

Seafoam on the Washington coast is actually more like pea soup than turquoise.

The best saltwater taffy and fudge is made in the coastal towns, but the seafood is not that great.

No matter how much I love TV, I would gladly give it up to sit and listen to the ocean.

ROCK STAR:INXS

What an awesome show this is! I swear that Mark Burnett is an absolute genious. Every reality show he creates is great! This show is like American Idol x10. There are good singers and performers and it is actually hard to choose which one is the best unlike American Idol which has some pretty crappy singers and a few good ones. Plus, they sing great rock songs! I was rockin' out! So far my favorite singer and performer is
  • Ty
  • : He is a strange mix for INXS, but I really think that it could work. I hope he wins.

    Finally figured it out!!!!

Ok, so I have been having some problems with this rude person e-mailing me these rude and insulting comments. I had tried to be nice, but I guess some people want a little too much. Kind of stalker-ish if you ask me. My brother told me that I should try something in Outlook that just permanently deletes any e-mails from the person so I do not even have to look at them. Well, after about a half an hour of fooling with it, I finally figured it out. Now I have finally gotten rid of this nasty negative person and I can go on not having to worry about having some nasty insults when I check my e-mail. I feel so happy to have the wonderful family and friends that I have, and I feel so lucky to not have to have that negativity in my life anymore.

    I feel so betrayed!

So I found out today that our beloved Sonics coach Nate McMillan has gone to the Portland Trailblazers. He was such an awesome player and such an awesome coach. I am sad that he is leaving, but even sadder that he is going to Portland of all places. I do not understand why whenever we have a good coach for a Seattle sports team that they give them up. We had George Karl before who was a total jerk, but a good coach nonetheless, then we had Lou Pinella for the Mariners who was in my opinion the greatest coach ever and he left too. Why can't we just keep the good ones around at least until we win a championship. The Sonics did so well last year and now they let Nate go, the Mariners were doing so well, but they let Lou go. Why do they have to do this to us?

    Working out in the morning...

I love being able to work out in the mornings. I don't get to do it very often because of Matts' work schedule, but it feels so great when I do. My Mom and I usually go in the mornings on Saturdays and Sundays, but during the week I usually go by myself at about 7:00 PM. My Mom and I went this morning because she took a few days off and I feel so great. I wish I could start out every morning like this.
