My new favorite scrapbook page...

I have been in kind of a funk lately. I haven't been doing scrapbook pages that are really making me proud. Finally tonight I had a breakthrough. I did a scrapbook page that I am really proud of. The journing reads:
Riley started asking for his milk by saying, "kuppa milk pease." Then after the first time we gave him chocolate milk, he started saying,"kuppa chocky milk said pease." We of course rarely give him actual chocolate milk, but it didn't matter to him, that is what he continued to call it from then on. He also has this routine that when we give him his, "kuppa chocky milk," he immediately puts one hand down his pants. I guess some kids have their pacifiers and blankies, but my son has something that will stay with him forever.

Who I love on Rock Star:INXS now

ok, well, my favorite was Ty, but he got voted off last week so I have had to find a new favorite so I decided that Mig would be great. Well, that has changed this week. My new favorite is the bad boy J.D.. He sang the best original song this week and also did the best job at the INXS song tonight. He sounded exactly like Michael Hutchence when he sang it. Even Matt is digging this guy! I could not believe that Matt was actually hoping that he would be in the bottom 3 just so he could watch him perform an INXS song. He did awesome! He sang Mystify tonight and I just have to say that I am so hoping that he wins thins thing! He has the sex appeal and the voice of Michael.

My son is sleeping in his own bed and going potty on the toilet!

Ok, well my parents bought Riley this really nice crib/toddler bed when he was born for us and truthfully, he has never really used it. That is until now. He is finally sleeping in his own bed. He used to fall asleep on the couch and then come into our bed sometime in the middle of the night. This week, he has finally started sleeping in his own bed! I am so excited!

Riley has also started going potty on the toilet. I decided that the best time to start really potty training him was when Monica went back to school and it is working. I bought a big bag of M&M's and he gets 5 of them every time he goes pee in the toilet and 10 every time he goes poop. He hasn't gone number 2 yet, but hopefully that will come soon. He is doing really good so far though. I am so happy!

First day of school pictures

Monica started her first day of 4th grade today. She also started taking the bus to school instead of me taking her. Here are some pictures that I took of her this morning.
