The new job...

I am happy to say that I am starting my new job tomorrow. I get to do the fun and exciting orientation. Yeah! I am happy to be starting a new job and joining the workforce again, but I am also sad that I am losing the time that I spend with my kids every night and week-end. Hopefully everything will turn out ok and my kids will forgive me for being gone.

Matt and I have been going through a rough time lately and I know that I haven't written about it before, but I feel like it is something I should mention to my friends and family. I am really hopeful that things will work out, but I am also finally realizing that I can do things on my own as well. I am really scared of what might happen, but I truly believe that God has a plan for me and whatever happens will be what is best. I love Matt so much and I can only hope that God's plan is for us to work things out and be together. He is the only man that I have ever truly loved with all of my heart.

I got the job!!!!

I am so happy! The manager has been gone since Tuesday and so when I called him today, he told me that he was sorry he hadn't called me back and that things had been really crazy around there since Easter is coming up. He said that he wants me to go in to do the drug test on Monday and if I pass then I will get the job. Of course that means that I got it! YEAH! Thanks for all of the well wishes and support.

Matt's Grandma's birthday...

We had a wonderful time visiting Matt's family this past week-end for his Grandmother's 80th birthday. It was so nice to spend time with his family since we really don't do it as often as I would like to. Unfortunatley I did not get any pictures of any humans that day, but I got a lot of beautiful pictures of Matt's uncle's farm. There are some people that are growing some beautiful flowers on the farm and I also got some great pictures of some of the cows. There was one baby cow that was born on the 27th that was super cute. another update on the Fred Meyer job...

Well, the Operations manager Jay didn't call me back yesterday like he said he would so I called him today to let him know that I was still interested in the job. He was unfortunately not working today. I left a message with the assistant manager, but I will be calling back again tomorrow. I am a little annoyed that he has kept me waiting for this long. It is Fred Meyer for God's sake! I know that I am very well qualified for the job and I did a great job at the interview so I don't know what is going on! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I am still very hopeful. I will let you know what I find out tomorrow.
